    Experience, expertise and insight

    A different viewpoint

Morgan and Ben first met when Morgan was rising through the schoolboy rugby ranks, and Ben was covering the rugby union round for the Sydney Morning Herald. They've been on the same tours and enjoyed the same rugby seasons, but from very different perspectives. As Morgan played, Ben reported. And all the way through, over the years, they talked rugby. Now you get the chance to tune in, and get involved. Don't be afraid to hit us with questions and comments here or on our social accounts.

    Morgan Turinui

In rugby terms, Morgan has experienced it all. A product of Waverley College and the famous Randwick club, the former Australian Schoolboys captain went on to play 27 times for Australia in a career that saw him also wear the NSW, Queensland and Australian Sevens jerseys. Morgan rounded out his career playing with Stade Français, before a stint on the coaching panel at the Melbourne Rebels. Acknowledged as one of the game's better thinkers, Morgan's analysis and insight are only matched by his willingness to tell it straight. He does not miss.

    Ben Kimber

A former journalist at the Sydney Morning Herald, and founding publisher of one of the world's first rugby union websites, Ben has also co-hosted the successful Ruggamatrix Vodcast on Facebook and YouTube.

After almost two decades covering the code in detail from schoolboy to international level, Ben has runs on the board in both match analysis and understanding off field dramas. Used to seeking the truth amidst the PR and vested interests, Ben brings a wealth of experience and insight into the game and those who run it.
